This chalet from the 70's, composed of small rooms and intermediate floors, needed a second chance. Thanks to the intervention of Chalet Design, the spaces open up and flow in order to welcome a young family in contemporary comfort. The sandblasting of the facades gives the exterior of the building a new lease of life. Concerned about today's issues, the chalet will use different energy sources that are environmentally friendly.

Modernization of a family chalet

Chalet Design partnered the owners of this chalet. A gift from parents to children which involved the renovation of two floors. The site had to be treated with xylophene for all of the framework, and after a structural study which allowed us to consider the constraints of wood and using metallic elements to give it a contemporary feel.

12 months of work to create a new construction of 65m ² footprint. Framework is larch and the basement masonry. Ground floor has three garages, First floor a kitchen / dining room, a living room, an en-suite bedroom, 2nd Floor: two bedrooms, a music room, and a bathroom.
